Tinashe is weathering the storm.
After delivering her first independent album Songs for You last month, the R&B singer unveils the dance-heavy video for the album standout “Stormy Weather.” The black-and-white clip finds Nashe performing choreographed moves with her four dancers, all wearing nude shapewear. She works up a sweat while showcasing her flexibility as the clip eventually turns to color.
“Stormy Weather” is the latest track off Songs for You to receive a visual following the G-Eazy-assisted “So Much Better,” “Save Room for Us,” and “Cash Race.”
Songs for You, which also features appearances from 6LACK and Ms Banks, marks Tinashe’s first project since leaving RCA Records and launching her own label.
“I wanted to give people a real experience that they could really sink their teeth into,” she told Hip Hop Mike. “There are a few moments that are in your feels. I had to really open myself up. It’s the most vulnerable project I’ve ever put out.”
