50 Cent Slams Oprah for Only ‘Going After Black Men’ with #MeToo Documentary

50 Cent is putting Oprah Winfrey on blast.

The hip-hop mogul thinks that Oprah is targeting famous black men accused of being sexual predators but is giving their white counterparts a pass.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, 50 called out Oprah while posting a photo of her alongside Russell Simmons, who has been accused of sexual misconduct. “I don’t understand why Oprah is going after black men,” he wrote. “No Harvey Weinstein, No Epstein, just Micheal jackson and Russell Simmons this shit is sad.”

He also posted an image showing Bill Cosby, Jeffrey Epstein, Kevin Spacey, Harvey Weinstein, R. Kelly, and Donald Trump with “Jail” written on the black men and “Walk” on the white men.

His comments follow the announcement of Oprah’s upcoming #MeToo documentary for AppleTV+ about sexual assault in the music industry. The film, which she is executive producing, spotlights former Def Jam executive Drew Dixon, one of the women who accused Simmons of sexual misconduct.

Simmons, who has denied the “horrific accusations,” has since spoken out about the doc. “Dearest OPRAH, you have been a shining light to my family and my community,” wrote the 62-year-old mogul. “This is why it’s so troubling that you choose me to single out in your recent documentary. I have already admitted to being a playboy more (appropriately titled today ‘womanizer’) sleeping with and putting myself in more compromising situations than almost any man I know. Not 8 or 14 thousand like Warren Beatty or Wilt Chamberlain, but still an insane number. So many that some could reinterpret or reimagine a different recollection of the same experiences.”

In his post, 50 also called out Oprah’s friend Gayle King for her controversial interview with R. Kelly, who is also facing a series of sexual abuse allegations. “Gale hit R Kelly with the death blow documentary,” he added. “Every time I hear Micheal jackson I don’t know whether to dance or think about the little boys butts. These documentary’s are publicly convicting their targets, it makes them guilty till proven innocent.”

Oprah previously hosted HBO’s “After Neverland” special with two of Jackson’s accusers, Wade Robson and James Safechuck.

This is not the first time 50 and Oprah have been at odds. She previously criticized rap for its use of the N-word and misogynistic lyrics, while he disparaged her audience. They seemingly settled their differences in a 2012 interview on OWN’s “Oprah’s Next Chapter.”
