Kanye West is setting up shop in Wyoming.
The rapper has purchased a massive property outside Cody, Wyoming called Monster Lake Ranch. According to TMZ, the asking price was $14 million.
The resort sits on more than 9,000 acres and has eight lodging units, fresh water fishing lakes, a restaurant, an event center, and meeting facilities. There are also horses, barns, and corrals. Cody is known as the “rodeo capital of the world.”
It’s unclear how much Kanye paid, but he reportedly did not pay full price. He owns 4,500 of the 9,000 acres, and the rest is leased from the federal government.
Kanye is currently in Wyoming. In between riding ATVs, he is finishing up his new album Jesus Is King and was joined by Pusha-T in the last few days. Last month, Kim Kardashian revealed the tracklisting for the religious-themed project, which is due Sept. 27.
Kanye’s love for Wyoming is no secret. He recorded his last album, 2018’s ye, in Jackson Hole, and the cover art features the Teton Mountains as the backdrop.
