Less than 48 hours after dropping the Kash Doll-assisted “Sociopath,” Pusha-T delivers his Kanye West-produced collaboration with Ms. Lauryn Hill.
During an interview with Ebro on Beats 1, the G.O.O.D. Music president opened up about the powerful track, which is about mass incarceration. “Just giving hope to those who are coming home and telling people we waiting on them and we gon’ be out here as a support system when they get home,” he said.
The collaboration with the Fugees icon was a dream come true for Push. “I made the request. I definitely followed the queen around,” he said. “It means everything. It’s insane.”
On Monday, Pusha dropped the Kanye-produced “Sociopath” featuring Kash Doll. He has been in the studio with Kanye and has nine songs done for his new album, due later this year. “That’s what I’m in here now cooking up, right now,” he told Ebro.
