Kodak Black is showing remorse after he threatened violence against Yung Miami.
The “ZEZE” rapper, who is in jail on weapons charges, rapped about punching the pregnant City Girls rapper in the stomach on a recent freestyle that he recorded in jail.
“I bought Yung Miami a ring, she wanted 808’s baby,” he rapped in the clip, which he shared on Instagram. “When I see her I’ma hit that bitch in her stomach / The way I keep this shit too real / They say I’m fuckin’ up my money.”
Now Kodak is backing off his “petty” remarks. Taking to Twitter on Saturday (Aug. 10), he issued an apology of sorts. “#YungMiami Gimmicks Are For Suckas, As I Sit Back I Realize How Petty That Move Was And As A Man It’s Certain Things We Refrain From,” he tweeted.

He also apologized to the father of Miami’s unborn child, Southside of production duo 808 Mafia. “@sizzle808MAFIA Ain’t No Smoke Wit You Bra Fuck That Lame Shit I Pray Y’all Have A Healthy Baby And Live A Prosperous Life,” he said, adding, “Besides Bitch We Got More Hits To Make.”
Yung Miami, who announced her pregnancy in June, starred in Kodak’s video for “Christmas in Miami,” during which he proposed to her with a Ring Pop.
Following Kodak’s violent freestyle, her boyfriend Southside fired back on Instagram Stories. “Somebody tell Kodak suck a dick,” wrote the Atlanta beatmaker. “How ’bout that? And get up out of jail first, pussy.”
Yung Miami also weighed in. After a commenter dissed her and Southside on Instagram (“Kodak dusted u lil mama now this 808 ni**a big mad”), she responded, “Poor ass ni**a Kodak ain’t dust shit!”
Kodak remains behind bars after being arrested on weapons charges for allegedly making false statements on gun applications. He was denied bond and will remain in a Florida jail cell at least until September when his trial gets underway.
Last week, Yung Miami was targeted during a drive-by shooting in Miami. The pregnant rapper was riding in her Mercedes G-Wagon when shots were fired at the vehicle, but she was not hit.
