2 Chainz and Ariana Grande ruled Boston.
The pop princess surprised fans by bringing out 2 Chainz to perform their collaboration “Rule the World” for the first time together during Ariana’s “Sweetener World Tour” in Boston on Wednesday night.
Standing in front of an old school whip on a pink-lit backdrop at TD Garden, 2 Chainz delivered his verses on the Hitmaka production, while Ariana provided the angelic hook.
They ended on top of the car as it descended below the stage. “the show was lit !!! thank you @arianagrande thank you BOSTON,” said 2 Chainz following the show, while Ariana added, “love u @2chainz thanks for surprising boston w me #ruletheworld.”
The track, off 2 Chainz’ latest album Rap or Go to the League, is already off to a great start. It is the No. 1 most-added song at Urban and Rhythmic Radio.
Ariana kicked off her “Sweetener World Tour” earlier this week. The arena trek, which also features Normani, travels across the U.S. with a stop at Coachella next month.
