Sean “Diddy” Combs is breaking his silence following the death of Kim Porter.
Three days after his ex-girlfriend was found dead, the hip-hop mogul returned to social media with a touching tribute. “For the last three days I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare. But I haven’t,” he wrote. “I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby. I miss you so much.”
He shared the unbreakable bond he had with the mother of his children. “Today I’m going to pay tribute to you, I’m going to try and find the words to explain our unexplainable relationship,” he added. “We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. WE WERE SOME OTHER SHIT!! And I miss you so much. Super Black Love.”
The post was accompanied by a video of him and Porter, who was pregnant with their twin daughters at the time, dancing to SWV’s “When U Cry” on set an ESSENCE photo shoot.

Diddy and Porter began dating in 1994 and split in 2007. They had three children together—son Christian, 20, and 11-year-old twin daughters D’Lila Star and Jessie James. Diddy also considers Porter’s eldest child Quincy, 27, a son.
Porter, 47, was found dead in her Toluca Lake, Calif. home on Thursday (Nov. 15). The cause of death is unknown at this time. Authorities were called to the actress-model’s home after a 911 call reported “a patient in cardiac arrest.” She was reportedly battling pneumonia in the weeks prior to her death.
