Logic and his estranged wife Jessica Andrea announced their separation last month. Now, the Maryland rapper makes it all the more official by filing for divorce.
Logic submitted legal divorce documents on Thursday (April 19) in Los Angeles, according to TMZ.
Logic, 28, and Jessica, 25, were married in 2015, and do not have any children together. Reports indicate that it was the “Everyday” rapper who initiated the split, but the couple claimed it was amicable in a statement to fans.

“We have come to the loving conclusion that we are better as friends,” they said in a joint statement. “It’s very simple. It just didn’t work out. There is no anger… No fighting, no cheating, no nothing. We love each other and will continue to support each other for the rest of our lives.”
The couple reportedly has a prenuptial agreement that entitles Jessica to an undisclosed payout, but not the house or the car. By last month, Andrea had already moved out of the home, which they are reportedly selling.
Logic’s success also continues booming. His mixtape Bobby Tarantino II, which features his ex-wife on the cover, topped the Billboard 200 last month. He is now gearing up for the “Bobby Tarantino Vs. Everybody Tour,” which kicks off June 8 in Boston.
