6ix9ine’s manager Tr3way is reportedly a person of interest under investigation in two separate shootings that occurred in Brooklyn over the weekend, according to TMZ.
Law enforcement officials say that Tr3way may have fired a shot inside of Barclays Center following an altercation with 6ix9ine’s rival Casanova and his camp during a boxing bout between Adrien Broner and Jessie Vargas. Earlier that day, cops say that Tr3way may have also fired two shots at a car that was trailing 6ix9ine’s vehicle. Police sources believe the shooter in both surveillance videos resembles Tr3way.
TMZ published a video that appears to show one of the shootings. Witnesses say that Tr3way jumped out of the car and shot at a vehicle that was following them. 6ix9ine reportedly appears in the video wearing a hood, so his signature neon hair is not visible.
Earlier this week, 6ix9ine’s crew was also tied to another shooting at Casanova’s music video in the streets of Brooklyn. At least 10 shots were reportedly fired and two men were injured. Tekashi commented on a video of the shooting, writing, “You keep my name out your mouth: HOW YOU GETTIN SHOT AT IN YA OWN HOOD.” Casanova, who’s been feuding with Tekashi, denied getting shot at.
At press time, no criminal charges have been filed against Tr3way.
