6ix9ine’s troubles continue. While authorities investigate his team’s involvement in a series of shootings, the controversial rapper’s career takes a hit.
TUNES Audio, a headphones company, reportedly backed away from a $4.9 million deal with the rainbow-haired MC, according to TMZ. “At this time it is in the best interest of our company to move on,” they said in a statement. “We wish him well. He’s a great artist.”
The company, which Blac Chyna also promotes, tapped Tekashi69 to help sell their $249 headphones, according to the report. They now claim they are giving away $1 million worth of their headphones on their website.
6ix9ine also faces other consequences over the shootings. Earlier this week, Brooklyn’s Barclays Center reportedly banned him from the arena. Thus, the Soulfrito festival dropped him from their upcoming bill.
The “Gummo” rapper’s manager, Tr3way, is also a person of interest in at least two shootings that allegedly took place in Brooklyn last weekend.
