A$AP Mob and Lil Yachty are set to co-headline the third annual Yams Day concert, set to take place on Jan. 18.
Nav, G Perico, Aston Matthews, Retch and Dash, and others will also be on hand for the annual celebration of the late A$AP Yams’ life and legacy. This year’s event is slated to take place at the New York Expo Center in the Bronx.
In addition to the aforementioned performers, Yams Day will feature DJ sets from Cozy Boys and TDE’s MixedByAli. Surprise guests will be announced at a later date. Kendrick Lamar and The Weeknd were on hand for last year’s celebration.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Always Strive and Prosper Foundation, which was launched by Yammy’s mother Tatiana Rodriguez two years ago. The foundation aims to educate young people about substance abuse.
Yams Day 2018 follows the latest A$AP Mob album, Cozy Tapes Vol. 2: Too Cozy, the follow-up to 2016’s Cozy Tapes, Vol. 1: Friends-. Both projects were inspired by the group’s late friend, A$AP Yams.
Tickets are on sale now.
