The Tupac biopic, All Eyez On Me, has been filming in Atlanta since earlier this year, and yesterday, they moved over to Las Vegas to complete the film. As you know, Pac died following the Bruce Seldon vs. Mike Tyson fight at the MGM Grand in Vegas in 96, so the cast will be reenacting “the hours and events leading up to that fateful night.”
According to a press release, some of the cast and crew will be honored by the City of Sin today with a proclamation from Clark County Commissioner, Lawrence Weekly. This includes the film’s director Benny Boom, and the actor portraying Tupac, Demetrius Shipp Jr.
No word on when this will hit theaters, but I’m looking forward to it. Will you be checking for it?
