A few weeks ago, we heard about Texas cop, Officer Joshua Kehm, slamming a 12-year-old girl down face first on a concrete ground. That cop has now been fired from his job.
District superintendent Pedro Martinez, says that the officers actions were “absolutely unwarranted.” He went on to say,
“We want to be clear that we will not tolerate this behavior.”
The officer claims he was intervening in on a fight that the girl was egging on. The 12-year-old girl by the name of Janissa Valdez, says,
“I was going up to her to tell her let’s go somewhere else so we could talk, but that’s when the cop thought I was going at her. I wasn’t going to do anything.”
This incident is still a ongoing investigation.
