Jay Electronica had a show in Minneapolis last night. During the show, he took time to to pay homage to Phife Dawg by doing a freestyle. Jay said, “Rest in Peace, Phife,” to start the tribute off. He then started to engage the audience in singing A Tribe Called Quest’s iconic lyric, “Can I kick it? The audience responded “Yes, you can!.”
Metasota then got a chance to rap on stage with Jay. He took to Twitter to say,
there’s only a few moments in life.

He went on to say,
just woke up from a dream that I rapped with @JayElectronica onstage last night & went the fuck in & represented the homeland…
