Rappers, Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz sat down and discussed the difference between Southern rappers and rappers from up North. Lil Wayne says that rappers from the South have a different reality than rappers from up North.
“It’s just that in the South, our reality is different than up North. Not meaning that they don’t have the hood, it’s just that their reality is rap. Their reality is hip-hop and music, they’re the creator. It was born there, it’s the birthplace of hip-hop, so that’s their reality.”
