The Dallas Cowboys beat the Washington Redskins 19-16 on Monday Night Football. It left the NFC East in a three-way tie, with the Redskins, Giants and Eagles all at 5-7 and the Cowboys just one-game behind at 4-8. The standings and ending of the game weren’t the only things that were chaotic; numerous fights broke out at Fedex Field and one man was reportedly stabbed.
Video of the incident shows an out-of-control crowd pushing and shoving each other in the concourse area of the stadium following the game.
In the video, the man recording shows another man laying on the ground in a Cowboys jersey being assisted by a man in Redskins jersey. The man recording says the man was stabbed and shows a metal object on the floor saying it’s the knife.
According to Fox 5 DC, while a knife was confirmed to have been recovered, the Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department says they did not respond to a stabbing at any point during Monday’s game at Fed Ex Field.
Prince George’s County Police say two people were arrested following the incident. It is not clear what charges, if any, will be filed. Police said it was unclear who was in possession of the knife at the time of the fight.
