LeBron James is usually one of the best defenders on the court, in fact he’s been mentioned in Defensive Player of the Year talks numerous times but this play on Tuesday night certainly won’t go in his highlight reel.
During the Cleveland Cavaliers game against the Boston Celtics, Jonas Jerebko attempted a long two. James ran over seemingly to defend the shot, but kept on running, away from Jerebko. Is this a new type of defensive strategy or does LeBron have zero respect for Jerebko’s shooting ability? Though the clip went viral, Jerebko actually missed the shot and the Cavaliers later beat the Celtics 89-77, so no harm no foul on James’ end technically.
