Marshawn Lynch doesn’t always get the best rap in the eyes of the media but trust me this is one good dude. He has contributed money and more importantly his time to numerous off the field causes, especially his “Fam 1st Family Foundation”. Most recently, he reached out to the family of a high school football player from Sacramento, California who had tragically been shot and killed the same day he was supposed to play in a state playoff game.

Jaulon “JJ” Clavo was shot and killed last month on the same day as his playoff game. Lynch and his foundation heard about what happened and thanks to a connection with Lynch’s college teammate Quan Thompson, they got in touch with Clavo’s family.
They sent his family a personalized Seahawks jersey with Clavo’s name and number on it. Marshawn never publicizes the good he does for people because it’s a genuine gesture and not for the cameras. In fact, if not for Thompson we may have never heard about it at all.
Shout to Marshawn for the cool move and all love and prayers go out to Jaulon’s family.
