This is such an unfortunate situation. Nicki Minaj’s older brother, Jelani Maraj, was arrested earlier this week and charged with first-degree rape and first-degree course of sexual conduct against a 12-year-old girl. Bail for the 37-year-old was set at $100,000, which he posted yesterday.
Nicki and Jelani are very close, with Nicki even having paid for his wedding over the summer. She has yet to comment.
