Bobby Shmurda has sat in prison for about a year now. The 21-year-old is facing a hefty amount of weapons and conspiracy to commit murder charges. With the back-and-forths, bail denials, and more, there is a silver lining in the rapper’s dark cloud.
Martin Shkreli, the pharmaceutical executive that purchased the one copy of Wu-Tang Clan’s Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, happens to be in the works to assist with Bobby’s release.

Shkreli says that he is willing to put up the $2 million cash for two reasons; 1. he and Bobby are both young men from Brooklyn, and 2. he’s expecting a return on investment, he explains to HipHopDX.
“I’m not going to do this for free. [Laughs] He’s going to have to do something for me, Shkreli says. “I don’t know what that’s going to look like yet. He’s going to owe me one, obviously.”
