R.I.P.D or Rest In Peace Department is being sued by a set worker who said he was worked too hard and “popped” his back. Now he is seeking a lawsuit.
Set designer Andrew Hamilton is looking to head to courts for damage to his back that he said was caused by working the set of R.I.P.D. Hamiltion claims he had to carry 100lb steel doors up three stories when he heard his back “pop” (ouch). Hamiltion continues and says the back injury has left him unemployed and is seeking retribution. Ridiculous to think that a Hollywood movie set would have to have workers carry steel doors up 3 stories, don’t they have elevators? or other equipment that would make the job a lot easier? Seems a bit fishy. According to reports R.I.P.D lost $50 milllion so Hamilton might have to wait a while if hes seeking serious cash. Lets hope he has Aflac.
