#NFL Vince Young Tweets He’s “READY” To Take Over As Texans QB’s Struggle

Posted by Unknown on 6:31 PM

The Houston Texans got demolished by the St. Louis Rams 38-13 and fall to a 2-4 record. Their starting quarterback Matt Schaub went down with an ankle injury and backup quarterback TJ Yates entered the game. Unfortunately Yates continued Schaub’s tradition and threw a pick-six making it the fifth pick-six thrown in five straight games by a Texans quarterback. Well one Houston native is ready to step in and help. Read more after the jump.

Vince Young had success in Texas while in college. He played for the University of Texas Longhorns, won Two Rose Bowls & MVP awards amongst other accomplishments and records. Unfortunately his professional career in the NFL hasn’t gone as well and he’s currently a free agent after being released by the Green Bay Packers. Well it looks like Young is ready to capture that Texas magic again as he released a tweet today letting the Texans know he’s ready to suit up and help their quarterback troubles.

IFWT Young x Texans
The odds of the Texans picking him up? Bleak, but so is their quarterback situation…
