French Montana definitely has a hit on his hands with “Freaks,” his current single featuring Nicki Minaj. BUT, it was always meant to be his song! In fact, the Lil’ Vicious-sampled beat was originally given to Wale, but French convinced him to give it to him when the pair had a studio session a while back! When French’s Excuse My French tour kicked off in Wale’s hometown of D.C. last night, French brought him out as the surprise guest and revealed the “Freaks” secret to the crowd.
