I still don’t understand how they decided to tape the awards a week in advance of it’s airing on TV. Everyone was tweeting, taking pictures, and taking videos of the night’s events last night and informing the public of everything going on, really removing the element of surprise. Oh well, I guess we’ll wait for the ceremony to watch full performances. Hit the jump to watch Kendrick Lamar receiving his award for Lyricist of the Year and to see which nominees he beat.
