As the Broncos watch Peyton Manning work out at Duke’s campus today, they’ll have some financial incentives to discuss with him. As the Denver Post reports, the Broncos will offer (or have offered) a five-year deal worth about $60 $90 million.
Apparently, that’s also about what the Titans have offered as well.
“We’re still in it,” a Broncos source told the paper. “We don’t know. We’ll know more over the weekend.”
One advantage for Broncos is that they have about $15 million more room under the salary cap than does Tennessee.
Obviously, we still don’t know which way Manning is leaning, because it’s been reported Tennessee will get the chance to watch Manning work out as well.
But one thing we know for sure: the Broncos pursuit of Manning has played out all over national TV and Twitter, and it’s not likely to end soon.

The updates on the Peyton Manning Watch are coming in fast and furious.
According to various reports, the Denver Broncos are meeting with Manning on Friday at Duke University and will watch him throw. And, the Denver Post reported, the team is offering him a five-year, $90 million contract. Originally, the Post reported the offer was for $60 million.
The biggest surprise is that San Francisco 49ers have entered the chase. ESPN reported that the Niners watched him work out and gave him a physical this week.
Meanwhile, Manning has said no to the Dolphins, according to Jeff Darlington of NFL.com. Manning reportedly called the Dolphins on Thursday night and told them he would not be signing with them. The Arizona Cardinals also appear to be out of the running.
The Broncos, Tennessee Titans and now the 49ers appear to be the three finalists, though the Broncos and Titans remain the favorites. NFL Network reported that Manning is also expected to work out for the Titans, though a date has not been set.
According to the Denver Post, the Titans and 49ers are also working with contract parameters of five years and $90 million for Manning.
