Police Force Innocent 12-Year-Old Boy To Confess He Murdered His Younger Sister

Thomas Cogdell, now 18, was convicted and imprisoned for the murder of his 11-year-old sister.

As a 12-year-old he was interrogated by Police, upon stating 36-times he was innocent, Police told him he would face the death penalty if he did not confess.

Police shut the recorder off for 3 1/2 hours and when they turned it back on, Cogdell magically confessed. His mother is believed to be the true culprit. She suffers from mental illness and even confessed to beating her daughter.

Cogdell has since had his conviction overturned.
