NFL star Dez Bryant has stepped forward to kill rumors and speculation claiming there is a beef between him and Lil Wayne following a physical altercation last weekend in Miami.
Although he did not deny an incident took place, the Dallas Cowboys star said they are not at each other’s necks. Check it out after the jump…
Initially described as “famous rapper,” Weezy was identified in the scuffle this week.
Beach police have no incident reports from the fight, but a source tells a Herald reporter that Lil’ Wayne was involved. The fight happened inside the Fontainebleau’s LIV, the station reports, but details are otherwise sketchy about the altercation. Update 2:David Smiley, the Herald’s Miami Beach reporter, Tweets that a MBPD source tells him that Lil’ Wayne and his entourage were the “famous rapper” involved in the Bryant fight. Additional reporting claimed Weezy struck first by taunting Bryant’s on-field and off-field performances. It reportedly began after the rapper’s entourage taunted Bryant about having a lackluster football season, in addition to racking up debt in recent months. Last year Bryant made headlines for his legal issues, which included an $800,000 lawsuit from a jewelry store and a warning for criminal trespassing.
