This is what I love about Twitter. Someone tweets a phrase, it captures the imagination of the nation and voila, a trend starts. Just like that.
I know 'amazing' is an over-used word, but I am one of the those people who are often 'amazed' about the smallest thing. This little trend is one of them. First thing of a morning, first day of the year, probably after a new Year's Eve celebration, someone, somewhere typed in 'Page 1 of 366', send. Thousands of tweets later, doubtless inspiring bloggers all over the world to put pen to paper. This amazes me. I thank that person who came up with page one. This is page one of the latest chapter in all our lives.
My little life. Well, my NYE was spent indoors, wrapped up, tired, cold, unwell, the last throes of flu as the cough kicks in. I watched the fireworks on Big Ben and went to bed. Woken up a few hours later when my downstairs neighbour SLAMMED through their front door. (This is what they do, deliberately, to wake me up). It worked, I woke up. I dozed for a bit, another night of sleep disturbance, it has been going on all year, why would alcoholic drug users change the habit of a year? That's right, they wouldn't. So, 9am I get up and start my day, a limited amount of energy available to me because of the flu virus, I have taken down my christmas tree. I have dismantled an old video and I am in the process of getting rid of it in bits in the rubbish. I have also carried the rubbish and recycling downstairs for storage in the bins.
Page One of 366.
Lots of love and light to everyone who needs it.
