Al Green Comments On Obama Singing His Song

Footage of President Barack Obama singing part of Al Green’s “Lets Say Together” at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem has been all over the internet today. I think he did an amazing job, but what did Al Green think of the President’s cover? Find out after the jump!



Green told TMZ he thinks President Obama was “terrific” and, “He nailed it.” He continued, “I was thrilled that the President even mentioned my name, and if the President can get the economy going again and get everything going that he wants to, then we’ll all be together.”
