Though Common’s last three albums were all on Kanye West’s GOOD Music imprint, his new album “The Dreamer/The Believer” won’t be. Find out what Com had to say about it below.
“It’s just on Warner,” Com says regarding his new LP. “It’s on my own imprint as far as Think Common, yes, but I’m still G.O.O.D. Music-affiliated. That’s my family no matter what. Business-wise we just didn’t do the G.O.O.D. Music thing, but ‘Ye is my brother for good.”
Common’s last three albums, 2005′s Be, 2007′s Finding Forever and 2008′s Universal Mind Control, were all released via West’s G.O.O.D. Music imprint and featured production and guest appearances from ‘Ye. Com also appeared in the G.O.O.D. Music cypher at the BET Hip Hop Awards as recently as last year.
